It's begining to look a lot like Christmas

I know, I know it is Halloween - but I actually had a couple hours sans kids yesterday afternoon (thanks to my amazing best friend) and I knew if I didn't do it then it may never be. Sweet vintage Christmas goodies in the shop with more to come, that is if I can remember where I put the rest of the goods :-)

Seasonal Decorating

Besides Christmas, fall is the only time of year that I decorate for the season. Now who likes to do little decorating projects? Now who has only about 30 seconds a week to do so? I so get that.
Well I purchased some little oval chalkboard stickers on Groopdealz (if you don't check it out, it is a great source for discounted homemade goods - like a Groupon for Etsy lovers). It occurred to me to put them on glass jars and fill with mini pumpkins. I found the cutest little mini shiny jack o lanterns in the party supply aisle and thought they would be the perfect finishing touch. A little white chalk and I was good to go. A little prep and shopping, but when I had everything on hand it was less than a 5 minute project. I can see these changing with the seasons. I can change the writing to Merry Christmas and fill with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments. Now, what to do in the new year?
